Stardust Power Advances Oklahoma Lithium Refinery Toward 50,000-Ton Annual Capacity

Stardust Power, an American developer of battery-grade lithium carbonate, has provided an update on electrical infrastructure development for its proposed lithium refinery in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Under its previously announced agreement with Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company (OG&E), long-lead electrical infrastructure is being secured to support large-scale industrial power delivery to the project. Stardust Power describes the move as an important milestone because electrical infrastructure is among the longest-lead and most critical components of major industrial developments.

The proposed refinery will occupy approximately 66 acres at Muskogee's Southside Industrial Park and is expected to produce up to 50,000 metric tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate annually once it reaches nameplate capacity. Development is planned in two phases, with each production train representing approximately 25,000 metric tons of annual capacity.
